NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Scienza Health and Samsung Electronics America today announced the expansion of their partnership, making GIA® — Scienza’s FDA-registered digital human for clinical screening — accessible across Samsung’s full Galaxy device ecosystem. The web-based digitalhumanOS™ platform now runs on Galaxy smartphones, tablets, and Samsung DeX without app downloads, device-specific configuration, or IT integration.
The expansion addresses a deployment friction point that has historically slowed clinical technology adoption: device management. Because GIA® is delivered through a web-based platform secured by Samsung Knox, facilities can deploy screening on any Galaxy device already in their environment. A nurse’s Galaxy smartphone, a cart-mounted tablet, or a DeX-connected nursing station monitor all access the same platform with the same security posture.
"The question we heard most from operators after HLTH was not whether GIA® works — it was how many devices they’d need to buy," said David Kaiser, Founder & CEO of Scienza Health. "The answer is zero. If they have Galaxy devices, they have GIA®. Samsung DeX turns any Galaxy phone or tablet into a full workstation for the nursing station. No app store, no MDM headaches, no IT ticket."
Samsung DeX functionality is particularly significant for post-acute care environments, where nursing stations often lack dedicated workstations. A single Galaxy tablet connected to a monitor via DeX provides a full clinical screening interface, complete with real-time EHR write-back, without requiring additional hardware purchases or IT provisioning.
Initial clinical deployments begin in October 2025 with skilled nursing facilities deploying Galaxy devices for cognitive and neurological screening integrated with existing clinical operations.

Deployment Without IT Overhead
The Galaxy ecosystem expansion removes deployment barriers for PAC/LTC facilities:
- Web-based delivery — no app downloads, no device-specific configuration, no MDM complexity
- Samsung DeX transforms any Galaxy phone or tablet into a full-screen nursing station workstation
- Samsung Knox enterprise security provides HIPAA compliance across all Galaxy form factors
- Facilities deploy on existing Galaxy devices already in their environment
- Same platform, same security, same clinical workflow across smartphones, tablets, and DeX
“We engineered digitalhumanOS™ to be web-native specifically so that deployment would never be the bottleneck. The technology is the easy part. Getting it into the hands of every CNA, nurse, and clinician who needs it — that is the hard part. Samsung’s Galaxy ecosystem solves it.”
— David Kaiser, Founder & CEO of Scienza Health
